February is Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month
Approximately 1 in 3 adolescent girls is a victim of abuse from a dating partner. The seriousness of this issue prompted New Jersey lawmakers to pass recent legislation (P.L. 2011, Chapter 64) that requires dating violence education (grades 7-12) and a policy and guidelines for incidents involving dating violence.
