Appreciated Stock
Represents the transfer of stock at its current market value, which provides a potential charitable gift deduction, as well as a reduction in what is owed in capital gains tax.

There are many ways that you can give to Jersey Battered Women's Service, Inc. and enjoy possible tax advantages.

Life Insurance which designates JBWS as beneficiary may entitle you to tax deductions related to the policy's cash value and/or premiums.

Retirement Plan Benefits allow a donor to name JBWS as a death beneficiary for their retirement plan and/or IRA account. This may also reduce future income and estate taxes.

Charitable Trust Funds: Depending on the type of trust, the donor can provide for regular distribution to JBWS for a certain number of years of lifetime(s), or for an ultimate distribution to JBWS when the trust is terminated. The donor may be eligible for tax deductions based on the present value of the future distributions to JBWS.
