Open positions: Educator position (8 hour/wk – 10 month position) to present curricula on dating abuse prevention in schools in Morris County. Need excellent presentation skills, knowledge and sensitivity to issues of IPV, and knowledge of developmental needs of adolescents. Requires a bachelor’s degree in counseling, social work, education, or related field. Hourly (6-8 hours/week) Bilingual (Spanish) Counselor in batterers’ intervention program located in Morris County, NJ. Duties include group counseling, intakes and documentation. Must be available to run Friday night groups. Knowledge of domestic violence preferred. Master’s degree in counseling, psychology or social work required. Per diem positions, including overnights, in battered women's program. Duties include providing support to residential clients, helpline, intake assessment. BSW or related. Include this code in subject line: RESCOUN. Student Internship Opportunities JBWS utilizes between five and eight interns in a several JBWS programs during the school year. In general, JBWS interns are 1st or 2nd year master's level students in Social Work or Counseling. Most of the internships are for clinical positions. However, we also have a need for administrative interns. All interns must complete a 40+ hours training program provided by JBWS. Prospective interns should work through their school internships programs.
