Attend a Community Event
Remote Control was performed at two middle schools and one community event during the month of October.
The interactive play about relationships, abuse, and respect written and performed by Deana’s Educational Theater engaged middle school students and parents. Candlelight Vigil and Speak Out was held Thursday, October 16th on the Morristown Green.

More than one hundred community members shed light on the problem of abuse at the Candlelight Vigil to honor victims and survivors.

Morris County Prosecutor Robert A. Bianchi, Esq. shows his commitment to assisting victims of domestic violence and is pictured at the event with JBWS Associate Executive Director Jane Shivas.
Six silhouettes representing local women who were killed by a partner were displayed on the Morristown Green during the event. Each woman's name and personal story is printed on the gold shield.
Volunteers from Girl Scout Troop 299 in Dover handed out candles to the participants during the event.
