JBWS offers comprehensive services to assist victims, batterers, children, and the family members and friends who want to help them.

Friends & Family
If you are concerned that a friend or family member may be a victim or perpetrator of abuse, JBWS can help. Learn more about how to turn your concern into positive action.

Victim Services
Someone may be a victim of abuse and show no physical signs or they may be hurt and need medical attention, police protection and safe housing. JBWS has services to meet the many and varied needs of abuse victims. If you or someone you know is being hurt — physically or emotionally — in an intimate relationship, learn what you can do.

Batterer's Intervention
Jersey Center for Non-Violence is a JBWS sponsored program to assist those who are using force or abuse in their relationships and includes: ACT- a program for men; Choices - a program for adolescent males; and Vista — a program for women.

Children's Services
JBWS strives to break the intergenerational cycle of domestic violence by teaching alternatives.

Legal Assistance
The legal process can be overwhelming to a victim of abuse. JBWS legal advocates accompany victims to court and provide support and information on their legal rights and options. Language interpretation and access to pro bono attorney services are available through the program.

Teen Dating Abuse
Dating Abuse Prevention Program is a JBWS sponsored program that provides counseling to adolescents and young adults involved in dating abuse; counseling for parents; and consultation to school personnel and professionals.
